Yes, we’re both from Guam and no, we didn’t meet each other back home. We actually met here in San Diego and we’ve been annoying and loving each other since 2010.

The Proposal

DECEMBER 22, 2017

“It was the most nerve-wracking experience of my life. The days leading up to the proposal was a complete blur and I could hardly concentrate. I even kept a checklist so I wouldn’t forget anything. By then, my plan had already changed three times before I finally decided to do it at our Friendsmas party.

Before I knew it I was kneeling down on one knee and asking this person I’ve been with for 7 years to be my wife. There was no doubt that I wanted to spend my life together with this amazing person forever. She was everything I needed and wanted in a wife. She completed me and balanced the person I had become.”

“We had two ugly sweater Christmas parties that year and I couldn't decide what to wear until literally the day before the party. Neeko was also making his own sweater up until the last minute. (Creatives, amirite? LOL) So I was surprised yet again when I opened the box to find that my bff Zard designed a munny of our proposal AND that we were dressed in exactly what we were wearing that moment!”
